Make A Trailer For Your Content?

Well not really a trailer, and certainly not trashy. But the concept is similar and any successful film, or 'movie' (if you are under 30) will use a trailer to make you want to have the full experience. This post is about Google Web Stories.
If you read google news headlines on your mobile, you will probably have been drawn into an article or website landing page by a web-story. If you know all about these then you'll want to spend your valuable time one something far more interesting. If you haven't heard the news, read on.
Short-form Web-stories ( tappable cards/reels like Instagram stories) that often front longer news articles are proving to be extremely effective on the web with most recent findings suggesting that this is powerful way forward.

Businesses that have mastered the content writing art of creating captivating brand stories are streets ahead of anyone who is still relying on marketing blurb alone. Even as a tool to learn how to make great stories, web-stories are a great way to practice finding the best parts of any longer story and condensing them into an engaging trailer.
The Web-Story is designed to grab my attention and pull me in to absorb the main content/story points. By the end of the web-story I am presented the whole article to read. But unless that main article is well written, I won't make it beyond the first sentence.
